GOAL Academics
Guys and Girls Operating as Leaders (GOAL) are tightly knit into Denton ISD education, and one of the main components of GOAL is encouraging guys and girls to be leaders on and off the field. Denton ISD students are the ones in this program and are the authors and contributors to all the books you see below.
In addition, students who participate in GOAL are monitored and mentored by their coaches academically. Coaches follow up on your students throughout their primary and secondary education journey. After students have finished their education journey in Denton ISD, GOAL Alumni get a chance to win scholarships from the program each year. In the past years, GOAL has given out over $65,000 in scholarships and will continue to give every year.
GOAL Manifesto I
Familia, Escuela, Comunidad: A G.O.A.L. Manifesto is a collection of essays written by the current members of the Denton ISD G.O.A.L. program. The essays are an honest look inside the minds and lives of these young men and women.
